A teen is facing a list of charges after police said he fired shots into a group at an Allentown park, then fled in a go-cart.
Allentown police responded to a call about a fight and shots fired at Jordan Park at 201 N Sixth Street Extension, right off Seventh Street around 2:15 p.m. Sunday.
Witnesses told police the suspect who fired the shots fled the scene in a go-cart.
Police found the go-cart after it hit a police car at Emery and Greenleaf streets.
The go-cart operator fled on foot and police had to use a Taser on him before he was subdued, police said.
He was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital before being taken into custody by police.
His name was not released because he is a juvenile. The youth is facing charges of fleeing and eluding, recklessly endangering and disorderly conduct.
Police are still investigating the shooting incident and are looking for the weapon used.
