Jermaine Wilson Sr. jailed on assault charges in Easton

EASTON, Pa. -

A 40-year-old man was charged with assault Tuesday afternoon in Easton.

Easton police arrested Jermaine Wilson, Sr., at 3:30 p.m. in Canal Park.

Police accuse Wilson of choking and/or assaulting a 14-year-old boy, a 16-year-old girl and a 32-year-old woman.

Wilson was charged with aggravated assault, two counts of simple assault, two counts of recklessly endangering another person and harassment.

A warrant for Wilson's arrest was issued Monday, but police did not say when the assaults occurred.

The suspect was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Daniel Corpora and committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail.
