Teacher pleads guilty

Former teacher and coach Curt Reimer entered a guilty plea to a charge of criminal trespass in Northampton County Thursday.

On March 19, Reimer was found in the boys' locker room of Bangor Area High School. When police asked him to leave, they noticed Reimer was concealing unidentified items in his jacket pocket.

In 2002,  Reimer was accused of taking 40 pairs of underwear from students in the same school, where he taught and worked as a coach. No charges were filed in that incident.

In return for Thursday's plea, burglary and theft charges were dropped, reported Travis Weber of the Northampton County district attorney's office.

Reimer was sentenced to one year probation and ordered to pay court costs.
