Authorities are investigating a fire that destroyed a home in Lehigh County.
The fire broke out around 11:50 p.m. Friday at Saucon Valley Crossings at 5002 Route 309 in Upper Saucon Township.
At this point, officials are labeling the fire as suspicious.
"Wind and hot embers were just blowing, right through trees, telephone poles were on fire," said Kim Church, who lives nearby.
"Lots of lights, lots of screaming, it was kind of scary. Lots of heat," said Justin Moyer, a neighbor.
Some neighbors said they're still on edge after fire officials labeled it suspicious.
No one was home when it happened and the electric and heat were turned off. A source told 69 News the homeowner lives in New York.
The park's manager said an arson dog sniffed out the scene and made a hit on the back porch.
A neighbor told 69 News he heard yelling and what sounded like something landing on the porch before an explosion.
It's sending shock waves and uneasiness throughout the community.
"There is some concern about this happening to other empty trailers. There's four to five more this could happen to and it's kind of scary," Moyer said.
Neighbors describe their community as quiet, laid-back, and safe.
"It's kind of scary because it's quiet compared to other place, but now we just have to watch ourselves," Moyer said.
Some neighboring homes sustained heat damage, including melted siding.
There's no word on what caused the fire.
