Ice and rain pouring down didn't stop the fun in Easton.

EASTON, Pa. -

Ice and rain pouring down didn't stop the fun in Easton Thursday night.

Kids and kids at heart were welcome at the impromptu snowball battle.

"People having a good time," smiled Mickey Kent.  "Playing with some snowballs."

"Pretty much everyone is throwing a bunch of snowballs at people," described 10-year-old Toby Cadmus.  "And it's also a lot of fun, there's a lot of people right now."

What started as a post on Facebook soon had droves of people showing up at Centre Square.

"Looks like probably 75 to 100," shared Dawson Weller.

The wet snow was perfect for packing, and apparently pelting at moving targets.

"So basically we're having a blast," added Kent dodging snowballs.

About a half hour after it started, the snowball fight was broken up by Easton Police.  And everyone involved went back to being adults.
