WHITEHALL, Pa. -

An Easton woman is facing federal charges after investigators say she stole more than a half-million dollars from her Lehigh County employer.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Felicia Straub, 41, has been charged with three counts of wire fraud, one count of aggravated identity theft and one count of tax evasion.

Investigators say she stole $561,779.39 while she was employed as the office manager of Financial Adjusters, Inc., in Whitehall Township.

Police say the thefts occurred between September, 2006 and December, 2010.

Officials say Straub wrote checks from the company's bank account to pay her husband's credit card bills, and they say she used the company's credit card to purchase personal items.

Prosecutors also say Straub lied on her taxes to avoid paying approximately $44,000.

If convicted, Straub faces a maximum sentence of 67 years in jail and a $750,000 fine.
