As another round of snow started to fall Saturday, people scrambled to get their last minute errands out of the way and get home before the weather got worse.

69 News talked to drivers as they stopped at a gas station in Allentown.

"I am Christmas shopping so I'm trying to get home by 12 because it's supposed to be pretty bad," said Jennifer Bruno of Bethlehem.

Stephen Walker said, "I realized that my gas was a little low so I'm like we need to get gas, I don't want the tank to freeze, I got to go get some stuff for the store and then probably go sledding."

He had his seven-year-old daughter Nikaiyah with him, who had just finished an acting class at the YMCA.

"I think I like it because it's snowing and I like snow," said Nikaiyah. She was looking forward to playing in the snow later.

"Just got off of work," said Tyson Curry of Allentown, who stopped to check his tires. "Going straight home now, trying to get out of the weather before it gets bad."

Many people had warmer plans for the rest of the day.

"Baking and wrapping gifts and ordering the last of our Christmas gifts," said Leanh Graeff of Fogelsville.

"Probably make hot chocolate and watch movies," said Bruno.

With his daughter by his side, Walker said, "When I was her age it was like, 'yes I'm going sledding, woo hoo, get all day and my hands are turning blue' but as somebody who drives and has to work and everything, it's like, I'm not a fan."

He added, "I'll be in the house for hot cocoa."
