Charges have been filed against a man in Northampton County more than a month after a waitress was hit by a stray bullet.

LOWER MOUNT BETHEL TWP., Pa. -

Charges have been filed against a man in Northampton County more than a month after a waitress was hit by a stray bullet.

Daniel Appleby was shooting at an animal on his property in Lower Mount Bethel Township last month, but the bullet missed the animal and hit Samantha Lobb instead, police said.

Lobb was working as a waitress on the deck at the Riverside Bar and Grille. She survived.

Appleby was charged with discharging a weapon within a safety zone.

Police said they also found marijuana plants on Appleby's property, so he's facing drug charges, too.
