Crews rally to help injured hiker at Bake Oven Knob

Emergency crews were called out to rescue a hiker near the Lehigh-Carbon County border Sunday afternoon. It happened at Bake Oven Knob on Blue Mountain.

Fire companies from Lehigh and Northampton counties were called in to help with the rescue.

Crews at the scene said the 19-year-old hiker has a number of broken bones and internal injuries. He was taken to a local hospital by ambulance. His name was not released.
