SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. -

Folks in Lehigh County came together to help a courageous little girl who's recovering from a violent hit-and-run accident.

The Schnecksville Fire Company hosted a special breakfast to help pay for 3-year-old Annabelle Ruth's medical expenses.

Annabelle was critically injured in a hit-and-run incident in the 700 block of Saint John Street in Allentown back in October.

She was at the event to enjoy the festivities.

The family received some good news last week.

Doctors told them Annabelle won't been needing any surgeries in the near future., and her recovery is going well.
