Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway has bought local real estate company Patt White Real Estate.
Patt White partnered with Prudential, Fox and Roache based in the Philadelphia area back in 2006. Thursday, Patt White, based in the Lehigh Valley, confirmed Berkshire Hathaway bought the firms.
Patt White says it's "excited" at having Berkshire Hathaway's strength and high standards behind the brand.
Senior Vice President of Patt White and the Premiere Group Brad Patt says this is a "very positive and powerful launch" and will only help the company and their clients.
"The Berkshire Hathaway brand stands for integrity, trust and is extremely philanthropic. The pursuit to align with such a company is in direct alignment with our current culture and will give us a huge fountain to launch future opportunities and success," said Patt.
Patt says this will help the company's realtors serve customers even better than they are currently able.
Patt White and Prudential Fox and Roache are expected to change their names to Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Fox and Roache Trident this fall.
