A 44-year-old Bethlehem man has been arrested for allegedly swiping a cash register from an Easton store.

Tan Van Tran, of the 2500 block of Garden Court in Bethlehem, was taken into custody Friday by Easton police on an outstanding warrant for burglary.

According to police, Tran broke out a window of the Supreme Mart at 13th and Northampton streets last August and stole the cash register. Police did not specify how much cash was in the register.

Tran was arraigned in district court and sent to Northampton County Prison on $25,000 bail.
