A woman got into a drunken brawl with her boyfriend after breaking the front window of his apartment with her fist because he wouldn't let her inside, officials said.
A witness found Annette M. Terleski and Charles J. Csicsek Jr. on the ground punching each other just after midnight Tuesday, about an hour after Terleski had smashed the front window of Csicsek's apartment at 410 East 4th St., Bethlehem.
Csicsek lives at that address with his roommate, Jose Quinones.
Quinones, who was not at home when the fight started, told police he received a phone call at 11:30 p.m. Monday informing him of the fisticuffs and that he could hear Terleski and Csicsek screaming and fighting in the background.
Quinones sent a friend, Christine Schaeffer, to the apartment to investigate. When when she arrived around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday, she found the couple on the ground beating up each other, despite her attempts to break it up.
Terleski, who smelled of alcohol and had several cuts on her forearms as well as injuries to her wrist and face, told police she "punched" the window because Csicsek wouldn't let her in.
Csicsek, who also had been drinking, had scratches on his face and an injured lip. He admitted to police he was arguing with Terleski, but claimed she started it.
Terleski, 21, of 1565 Oakland St., Bethlehem, was arraigned on charges of assault, criminal mischief and harassment.
Csicsek, 30, who also lives at 1103 West North St., Bethlehem, was arraigned on charges of assault and harassment, according to court documents.
Terleski and Csicsek were committed to the Northampton County Prison on $20,000 bail each, court papers show.
A preliminary hearing for both is set for 9 a.m. Nov. 12.
