ArtsQuest looking for Oktoberfest performers
If you like lederhosen, beer and performing, the folks at ArtsQuest has a gig for you!
ArtsQuest, based in Bethlehem, is looking for actors and actresses to perform during its third annual Oktoberfest.
The festivities are set for October 4-6 and 11-13 at the SteelStacks campus.
Actors will portray characters typically seen at a German Oktoberfest celebration, complete with authentic German attire, and interact with festival guests while in costume.
Auditions will be held July 28 from noon -5 p.m. in the Banko Family Gallery of the Banana Factory, at 25 W. Third St. in Bethlehem.
No preparation is necessary, as auditions will be primarily improv-based.
The ability to perform with a German accent is encouraged, but not required.
All actors will be paid for their Oktoberfest performances.
To set up an audition time, email ArtsQuest programming manager Ryan Hill at firstname.lastname@example.org. The email should include an attached resume and headshot, as well as the preferred audition time.
No phone calls will be accepted.
