A third suspect has been arrested in the carjacking and kidnapping of an Allentown couple and their young grandson.
Angel Vega Hernandez was arraigned Friday on multiple kidnapping and related charges and committed to the Berks County Jail on $500,000 bail.
Hernandez had been sought since Aug. 13 when he and two other men carjacked the couple and the woman's 17-month-old grandson in the area of Kutztown and Mount Laurel roads in Muhlenberg Township, police said.
The victims were forced at gunpoint to ride in the car for more than an hour until the male victim jumped out of the car in the Norristown area of Montgomery County, police said.
The other two suspects -- Hugo Vega-Hernandez and Francisco Pagan-Cruz -- were subsequently apprehended by police.
The victims were not physically harmed.
