A major artery out of the city of Allentown was blocked due to an accident during the evening rush hour Thursday.
Two cars collided at Hamilton Street at Albert Street, near the Hanover Avenue bridge, witnesses tell 69 News.
No one was seriously hurt, police said. Two young children were inside one of the vehicles but neither was injured.
Traffic heading out of the city was backed up across the bridge.
There is no official word on what caused the crash but a witness tells 69 News one vehicle ran a red light and crashed into another vehicle that was turning left.
