ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Allentown police say charges will be filed against a man accused of injuring a four-year-old boy in a hit-and-run Saturday night.

Authorities say they have charged 21-year-old Engelbert Martinez-Infante of Allentown.

Police say it happened around 7:20 p.m. in the 400 block of Liberty Street when the driver of the car fled the scene after striking the boy, who was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say witnesses helped them to locate the driver nearby.

Police added that Martinez-Infante was also driving without a license.
