LOWER NAZARETH TWP., Pa. -

A woman accused of attacking her ex-boyfriend with a bug zapper last month is in more trouble.

Christie L. Flyte was arrested at about 1 a.m. Friday for violating a protection from abuse order by pounding on the door of ex-boyfriend Nicholas J. Yonak's apartment at 4349 Newburg Rd., Lower Nazareth Twp., Northampton Co., officials said.

Flyte was banging on Yonak's door for about an hour before she was arrested, officials added.

Yonak got a protection from abuse order against Flyte on Oct. 2, court papers show.

Flyte, 36, of 410B Nazareth Pike, Lower Nazareth Township, was arraigned and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $5,000 bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is set for 11 a.m. Oct. 12.

Flyte was arrested on assault charges on Sept. 18, after police viewed a smartphone video made by Yonak showing Flyte battering him with a tennis racquet-style bug zapper and throwing things at him, officials said.
