Two men are facing charges in connection with a drug buy by a police source, officials said.

Devol James, a passenger in a white Dodge Avenger with North Carolina plates driven by Arthur E. Dennis, sold the police source a plastic bag containing crack cocaine after they picked up the source in the 300 block of South 12th Street in Easton around noon Tuesday, officials said.

James and Dennis were stopped by police at South 13th and Washington streets, after dropping off the source in the 400 block of South 12th, officials said.

Police were unable to find an address for James, who is also known as Justin Smith and by the nickname Hood, according to court papers.

James, 25, and Dennis, 42, of 1120 Washington St., Easton, were both arraigned on charges of delivery of a controlled substance and criminal conspiracy and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $50,000 bail each, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing for both is set for 11 a.m. Feb. 25.
