LOWER SAUCON TWP., Pa. -

A man wanted in connection with the indecent assault of two sleeping teenage girls six months ago is now in custody, officials said.

Stephen S. Soultanian improperly touched a 13-year-old and a 14-year-old who were sleeping over at their friend's home on Foley Lane in Lower Saucon Twp., Northampton Co., on June 11, officials said.

The assault happened sometime between 10:30 p.m. and midnight, after the girls had watched a movie and fell asleep on a couch with their friend's mother, officials said.

Soultanian, 48, of 427 North Hunter Highway, Drums, Luzerne Co., was arraigned early Tuesday morning on charges of indecent assault on an unconscious person and corruption of minors and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $50,000 bail, according to court documents.

Soultanian was also arraigned Tuesday on a harassment charge for calling and sending voicemails and texts to a woman who lives on Foley Avenue after she had cut off communication with him, court papers show. Bail was set at $2,500 in that case.

A preliminary hearing on all the charges is set for 9 a.m. Dec. 28.
