Easton Mayor Sal Panto says the state of his city is strong and getting stronger.

EASTON, Pa. -

Easton Mayor Sal Panto says the state of his city is strong and getting stronger.

The mayor delivered his "State of the City" address Thursda morning during the annual Easton Mayor's Breakfast at the State Theatre.

Panto says Easton is "back" as one of the shining stars of the Lehigh Valley.

He says, in spite of a rough economy and Washington infighting, Easton has been a model for solving financial problems and creating economic opportunities.
