A Republican member of the Lower Macungie Twp. board of commissioners wants to keep his position.
Ryan Conrad is running for re-election to his second term on the Lehigh County board.
He was first elected to the board in 2009 as the highest vote-getter, according to a news release. He's currently vice-president of the board.
“After being elected in 2009, I committed to residents I would work hard to get results on their behalf," Conrad said. "I'm proud of my record of protecting taxpayers by adopting responsible budgets and paying down debt, elevating the public discourse on Smart Growth, and standing up for our community and the safety of our families."
Conrad is CEO of the Lehigh Valley Association of Realtors.
He has a bachelors degree in political science with a concentration in criminal justice from East Stroudsburg University and a master of arts degree in political science from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy.
