A convicted felon from Monroe County was found with a stun gun and a loaded flare gun after he was arrested for public urination, officials said.
Robert J. Forgoine admitted to having the guns on him after he was taken into custody at about 9:45 p.m. Sunday outside the Walmart at 3722 Easton-Nazareth Highway, Lower Nazareth Twp., Northampton Co., where he was seen urinating by store customers, officials said.
Police also seized a smoking device on the center console of Forgoine's vehicle, officials said, adding that it later tested positive for marijuana residue.
Forgoine was twice convicted of felony burglary in New York state -- once in October 1987 in Suffolk County and again in April 1988 in Nassau, officials said.
Forgoine, 45, of 412 Lower Seese Hill Road, Canadensis, was arraigned early Monday morning on charges of illegally possessing firearms, carrying firearms without a license, possessing prohibited weapons, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $50,000 bail, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is set for 10 a.m. March 14.
