Bethlehem Police say a 50-year-old man stabbed his elderly uncle in the city Monday afternoon.
John Bragg Jr. of 256 E. Goepp St., Bethlehem, is accused of stabbing his uncle -- Bill Fitzpatrick -- several times at the Goepp address around 12:30 Monday afternoon.
Police said Fitzpatrick is the executor of the Goepp property, which was owned by Fitzpatrick's brother, Bragg's father.
According to police, the stabbing occurred after Fitzpatrick told Bragg he had to move out of the property. Police said Bragg lured Fitzpatrick to the property and stabbed him multiple times.
Bragg is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and possession of an instrument of crime.
Police said the knife used in the stabbing was recovered.
Fitzpatrick was taken to St. Luke's Hospital-Fountain Hill where he's listed in stable condition.
