A man assaulted several people waiting for a charter bus at the Sands casino in Bethlehem, officials said.
Police were unable to determine the identity of the man who began punching casino patrons waiting for a charter bus at 77 Sands Blvd., Bethlehem, at 2:45 a.m. Saturday, officials said.
The man was led into the parking garage by Sands employees because he appeared to be drunk, said officials, adding that he also defecated into a urinal in a public restroom occupied by casino patrons.
The man, who identified himself as Julio Martinez and gave his birth date as Feb. 9, 1986, was arraigned on charges of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $25,000 bail, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is set for 11 a.m. Feb. 6.
