Men rob home posing as Verizon workers

Easton police are urging residents to be vigilant following a home burglary by men posing as Verizon employees.

Police say the home of two elderly residents on the 600 block of Reeder Street was burglarized Friday afternoon. Two men posing as Verizon employees apparently told the residents they were at scene to do telephone pole repairs. While talking with the elderly couple outside, it is believed a third suspect entered the home.

This is the latest in a series of similar incidents that have plagued Easton.
