Two women who were brutally murdered earlier this year left their estate to a church in Berks County.

ALBURTIS, Pa. (ORIGINALLY POSTED AT 3:25 PM) -

The victims of a double homicide have left their entire estate to their church.

Longswamp United Church of Christ in Longswamp Township, Berks County, is the sole beneficiary in the wills of Jeannette and Althea Walbert, officials said.

The mother and daughter were found dead inside their home in nearby Alburtis, Lehigh County, in March.

Brandin Kasick was arrested Sunday night in Sarasota, Florida, and charged with two counts of homicide.

The pastor at Longswamp U.C.C. said the Walberts will stipulates the money be spent on the building itself. Plan are to use some of the money for maintenance and a memorial to the Walberts.

Any plans will have to be approved by the congregation, the state and the Walberts' lawyers.
