The Bethlehem Area School District is facing a lawsuit over a student's death.
Mica Spady, the mother of Liberty High School sophomore Juanya Spady, says a teacher ordered him to participate in swim class when he wasn't feeling well in December of 2010.
She also says it took staff members 18 minutes to dispatch EMS after Spady collapsed during his next class.
He later died.
District Superintendent Joseph Roy says it's a very sad situation but he's confident it was handled appropriately.
He also says the district solicitor is confident the district is not liable.
