Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski wants to make it "three in a row."
The mayor announced his reelection bid at the local IBEW hall.
Pawlowski touted his accomplishments including the hockey arena project and other economic development, crime reduction and community development.
But he says the job isn't finished yet.
"One of the things that I have focused on over the course of last four years which I'm going to continue on the next four years is to make sure that we have a solid fiscal base, rebuilding our fiscal foundation, making sure that we take care of our pension liabilities," Pawlowski said.
Pawlowski beat former Allentown Mayor Bill Heydt to win the job in 2005 and Tony Phillips in 2009.
A Republican challenger has yet to step forward this time around.
