A popular festival is moving "up" and moving "in."
This year's Mayfair Festival of the Arts will relocate from Cedar Beach Park to the Allentown Fairgrounds, organizers announced Wednesday.
The new location means the artists and vendors will be able to set up outside and inside Ag Hall, organizers said.
The festival has posted a deficit over the last three years, thanks, in large part, to rain and flooding at Cedar Beach, so officials said they hope the move will help turn things around.
"It will be much more accessible for people. It will be barrier free. It'll be all one level. There will be indoor spaces that are climate controlled. There's outdoor spaces. People will be able to find whatever suits them," said Arlene Daily, executive director, Mayfair.
The cost of admission won't go up, and there will be free parking available at the fairgrounds, organizers said.
Mayfair will be held over Memorial Day weekend, starting May 24.
