WILLIAMS TWP., Pa. -

A man was arrested for hitting his wife after her ex-husband called police, officials said.

Mark T. Camden struck his wife, Catherine Camden, in the face with his left forearm and gave her a bloody lip at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday in their home at 795 South Delaware Drive, Williams Twp., Northampton Co., officials said.

Police were called to the home by Catherine Camden's ex-husband, Chris Jacangelo, who was speaking with his former spouse on a cell phone when he heard yelling and screaming before the line went dead, officials said.

Catherine Camden told police that during her conversation with her ex, her husband became upset, took her cell phone away from her and pushed her in the face, officials said.

Mark Camden, 32, was arraigned early Friday morning on assault and harassment charges and released on $15,000 unsecured bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. Dec. 17.
