Man shot dead in Allentown apartment

Allentown Police are investigating a deadly shooting at an apartment complex Sunday afternoon.
It happened just before 1:30 p.m. at the Wynnewood Apartments on Emaus Avenue at Allenbrook Drive.
An unidentified man in his 20s was shot to death inside a back unit of the complex, according to police.
Authorities are releasing very little information about the incident yet, but neighbors said serious crime is virtually non-existent in the area.
"I've never heard of a deadly shooting happening here," said resident Matt Serrano. "Usually you don't even see cops here."
The shooter is still on the loose, according to Assistant Police Chief Joe Hanna. He did not immediately have a suspect description.
In the complex's parking lot, Investigators appeared to narrow-in on a grey Infiniti with New Jersey registration. They also spoke to a woman who told 69 News she is deaf.
For neighbors used to quiet, it's an unsettling scene.
"People mess around, around here, but nobody -- not like this," said neighbor Dylan Schantz.
Sunday afternoon, officers appeared to be following some footprints in the snow.
Police have not released a possible suspect description.
