It may not be a sleigh, but a new creation from Mack Trucks is certainly cut out for Christmas duty!
On Thursday the company unveiled the special Mack Pinnacle tractor that will transport the 2012 Capitol Christmas tree from Colorado to Washington, D.C.
Mack has provided transportation for the tree several times over the years, but this vehicle is greener than ever before--not because of its cargo--but because it has near-zero emissions.
The tree will be cut down in Colorado on November 2. A multi-state tour will follow.
Finally, the tree will be delivered to Washington at the end of November, and the tree will be lit shortly after that.
