There's been a change of one superstar for Zoellner's annual fundraiser for another.
Tony and Emmy Award-winner Kristin Chenoweth will replace Katharine McPhee for Zoellner Arts Center at Lehigh University's Gala2012 on Saturday, Oct. 20.
McPhee had to withdraw from the performance for immediate medical reasons, according to Zoellner officials.
Broadway, television and film star Chenoweth is known for originating the role of Glinda the Good Witch in Wicked and for her show-stealing performance in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown.
She was most recently seen on Broadway as Fran Kubelik in the revival of Promises, Promises, starring alongside Sean Hayes.
Chenoweth appears on CBS' The Good Wife and is currently featured in the film, "Hit and Run."
She's also a veteran of the concert scene. She's had sold-out concerts at Carnegie Hall and the Metropolitan Opera House.
Gala2012 ticketholders are advised to contact the Zoellner ticket services office at 610-758-2787 or email@example.com with any questions.
For those who'd like to buy tickets to "An Evening with Kristin Chenoweth," contact the ticket office at 610-758-2787 or visit www.zoellnerartscenter.org.
Funds raised at Gala2012 support the arts at Lehigh and Zoellner Arts Center by bridging the gap between ticket revenues and the costs of presenting outstanding artists, community outreach and educational programs.
