Celebrate the holiday season with crafts, colonial stories and history at the year-end event for Hunt for History at Burnside Plantation, from 12-4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1.
The program, which focuses on Colonial Christmas traditions, offers children an opportunity to learn about their history within a historic 18th century colonial farmhouse.
Join the festivities inside the house as the season is celebrated with Moravian sugar cake and holiday punch. Children can make a scented pomander ornamented and enjoy the spirit with family and friends.
All Hunt for History club events are free for children with paid adult museum admission.
