A woman chomped on a man's hand and threatened him with a knife during a quarrel over who would get possession of their infant, officials said.
Kamara M. Frasier assaulted the man in her home at 1919 Lehigh St., Wilson, Northampton Co., at about 3:50 p.m. Monday, officials said.
Frasier and the man were arguing over the infant when she bit him on the hand, struck him and threatened him with a large kitchen knife, officials said.
Frasier claimed the man had hit her in the head and kicked her in the buttocks, but police did not see any signs of injury, officials said.
The man was found with a bite mark on his hand and a cut on his nose, and police saw a knife on a couch in Frasier's home, officials said, adding that one officer heard Frasier tell the man, "Oh, we're going to get it on. I'm going to get you."
Frasier, 31, was arraigned on assault and harassment charges and released on $10,000 unsecured bail, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. March 28.
