Juan Bautista-Crespo Delgado punches out slot machine, police say

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

A New York man is on a losing streak with the law after damaging a casino slot machine with his fist, officials said.

Juan Bautista-Crespo Delgado was arrested at 1:10 a.m. Wednesday at the Sands Casino, 77 Sands Boulevard, Bethlehem, after he caused $1,625 in damage by punching the glass on a slot machine, officials said.

Delgado tried to leave the casino through the bus exit, but was stopped by Sands security, officials said, adding that Delgado gave them a false name and date of birth.

Delgado, 56, of Brooklyn, was arraigned charges of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness and was committed to the Northampton County Prison on $10,000 bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. March 8.
