Intruders open fire on man inside home; homeowner arrested

A man who said he was dodging bullets after two men forced their way inside his home ended up being the one who was arrested.

EASTON, Pa. -

A man who said he was dodging bullets after two men forced their way inside his home ended up being the one who was arrested.

The man told police he encountered the men Tuesday afternoon inside his home in the 1300 block of Washington Street in Easton.

He said they shot at him, but he wasn't hit.

The man told police he chased the intruders as they fled his house, but they got away.

When police got to the home, they arrested the resident on an unrelated bench warrant.
