WILSON, Pa. -

Police are on the hunt for a pair of brazen bandits who tied up two female employees of a gas station overnight.

The holdup happened around 3:30 a.m. Monday at the Square One Exxon in the 1500 block of Northampton Street in Wilson, Northampton Co.

One of the gunmen chased down a store employee, struck her in the head with a handgun and then tied her up, police said.

The other robber, also armed with a gun, jumped the counter and forced the other clerk to open the cash registers, police said. She was also tied up.

The robbers got some money and took off, said police, who described the bandits as tall, thin and wearing masks and gloves.

The employees, both in their 20s, were not seriously injured, police said.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact Detective Christian Meehan at 610-428-3978.
