Two groups of juveniles robbed a food deliveryman and a Chinese restaurant in separate incidents in Allentown.
Both incidents took place Thursday night.
Police said the first robbery took place just before 7 p.m. in the 800 block of North Oswego Street.
A man delivering food from the Jade Garden restaurant at 624 N. Maxwell was knocked down by five males and a female, police said. The robbers took the man's car keys and the food, but not the victim's car.
It's not clear if any money was taken. The only description of the group was that they appeared to all be under 18 years old. The deliveryman was not hurt.
The second robbery occurred around 10:15 p.m. at the China Moon restaurant at 2102 Union Blvd.
Police said five males entered the restaurant, four were wearing masks. One had a handgun.
The robbers ordered the three restaurant employees to the rear of the restaurant and took their cell phones, wallets, purse, and an unknown amount of money from the register.
There were no injuries.
The suspects fled on foot down Van Buren Street.
The only description was of the lone robber who wasn't wearing a mask. He was described as a light-skinned black man, 5 feet 5 inches tall, small build, 130 pounds.
Police said all the robbers appeared to be teenagers and were wearing dark clothing.
They are still at large.
Police are not saying if the two incidents are related.
