Fundraisers set to help little girl with fight against cancer

A little girl from Coplay, Lehigh Co., is learning the meaning of love.
Ella Grace Luchansky is battling cancer, but this weekend, dozens of strangers will come together to make the 4-year-old girl's fight a little easier.
Ella is all flowers, bows, glitter and tutus -- everything a little girl should be.
But doctors say, without a miracle, her fairy wings will soon turn into angel wings.
Ella has been battling neuroblastoma for two years and is now in hospice.
Her mother, Jenn, always by her side, was unable to talk about the possibility of losing her baby girl, but Ella's story is being told by others.
Her struggle with stage 4 cancer has touched those who know her and many who don't.
This weekend, dozens of volunteers, restaurants and community groups will host a flea market and spaghetti dinner to raise money for Ella and her family.
"We really wish that we could cure her. We wish we could take all of her pain and all of her suffering away," said organizer Amie Marks.
"We can make it the best possible couple of weeks, couple of months for them, and they don't have to worry about the little things," added organizer Nicole Nemeth..
Volunteers will transform the Cementon pavillion at 5159 Dewey Street in Whitehall Township into a purple dining experience, because purple is Ella's favorite color.
They're hopeful people will pay $8 each to help a little girl who, despite a life of pain and hospital visits, never stops smiling.
"We got a lot of this stuff donated, so there's not really any overhead costs, so 100 percent will go to Ella," said Nemeth.
The kids clothes flea market will be Saturday from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., and the spaghetti dinner will be from Sunday 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
