The American Cancer Society is using flower power to help find a cure.

Volunteers, including WFMZ's Eve Tannery, spent the day Thursday selling flowers at the Promenade Shops as part of "Daffodil Days."

The flowers are being sold at locations throughout the Lehigh Valley through Saturday, and the proceeds will help fund cancer research.

This is the 40th year for the Daffodil Days event, but it will also be its last.

The American Cancer Society said it's going to put an end to the regional event to focus on more national fundraising efforts.
