Three new concert events are coming to the Sands Bethlehem Event Center during the coming months.
Rhythm and blues comes to life with the sounds of the Doo Wop Extravaganza on May 4. Included in the concert are Jimmy Beaumont & The Skyliners, Shirley Alston Reeves (original lead singer of the Shirlelles) , Frankie Lymon's Legendary Teenagers, Willie Winfield & The Harptones, The Tymes, Johnny Farina of Santo & Johnny, and the Knockouts.
On May 11 comedian and actor Chris Tucker brings his stand-up routine to Bethlehem.
Tucker is best known for his role in Rush Hour, and got his big break in 1995's movie Friday, co-starring Ice Cube.
The 1970s sensation America brings its Grammy-winning sound to the Sands on July 29.
The classic rock band has a string of hits including, "I Need You," "Ventura Highway," "Tin Man," "Horse With No Name" and "Sister Golden Hair."
