BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

Commencement season continued Monday with a ceremony at Lehigh University.

For many students it featured a flashback to their childhood.

Bill Nye delivered the commencement address to the Class of 2013 at Goodman Stadium.

Nye is the executive director of The Planetary Society but he's best known as "Bill Nye the Science Guy."

The science advocate touched on the dangers of climate change and population growth.

Ultimately he delivered an inspirational message.

"Keep using your abilities to bring out the best in those around you and let them bring out the best in you. And as you do, you can and you will, dare I say it, change the world," said Nye.

Nye was also one of several guests who received an honorary doctorate.

He also shook every graduate's hand -- nearly 1,900 in all.
