A man was arrested for attacking his father after an argument turned physical, officials said.
Christopher M. Dougherty punched his father, Christopher T. Dougherty, and gouged his left eye at about 11:25 a.m. Sunday in their home at 138 Pennsylvania Ave., Bangor, Northampton Co., officials said.
Christopher T. Dougherty told police that at one point, his son had a knife in his hand and threatened to kill him, and that he bit his son on the right hand during the altercation, officials said.
Christopher M. Dougherty, 22, was arraigned on charges making terroristic threats and harassment and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $10,000 bail, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. Dec. 26.
