A woman is suing over a fall on the ice about two years ago at a self-storage business in Lower Nazareth Twp., Northampton Co.

Amy Fox, of 3902 Country Club Road, Bethlehem Twp., Northampton Co., filed a civil suit Wednesday in Northampton County Court against Route 33 Self-Storage, 3813 Hecktown Road. The suit also names as defendants R.A.B. Management Corp., which operates Route 33 Self-Storage, and R.A.B.'s owner, Raymond A. Bartolacci Jr., of 711 Frutchey Hill Road, Forks Twp., Northampton Co.

The suit says that on Jan. 28, 2011, Fox was walking to her storage space when she fell on "an accumulation of ice" that was caused by "a faulty roof drainage system" and allowed to exist "for a long period of time."

Fox suffered a concussion and severely sprained her back and neck, and continues to suffer from back spasms, migraines, sensitivity to light, nausea, dizziness and memory loss, the suit says.

Route 33 Self-Storage was negligent and careless for allowing "a nuisance and trap" to exist on the premises, the suit says.

Fox is asking in excess of $50,000 in damages, according the suit.
