It's time to take a look back at the stories making headlines this week in the 69 News Week In Review.
Monday, a Lehigh County man was charged with vehicular homicide for causing a crash that claimed three lives.
Police say John Edward Mayer of Slatington was driving more than twice the speed limit when he crashed into another car in Whitehall Township this past February.
Investigators say Mayer's pick-up truck hit the other car with such force that it sent both vehicles flying more than 100 feet from an intersection and killed a mother and her 16-year-old son, along with the passenger in Mayer's truck.
On Tuesday, four people were hospitalized and 19 left homeless by a fire at an apartment and bar building in Northampton County that officials said was intentionally set.
Police said the fire was started by a woman during a domestic dispute inside one of the apartments of the Mineral Springs building in Forks Township.
Fallonn Craig is facing a long list of charges, including arson, causing a catastrophe and assault.
Wednesday, fears that a convicted murderer could get out of jail were laid to rest.
Bail was revoked for Jose Bonilla-Ortiz of Reading after prosecutors argued he continues to be a danger to society.
Ortiz was convicted of third degree murder on Monday for shooting and killing a man back in 2009.
The judge initially set bail at 250-thousands dollars.. which family and friends were apparently in the process of raising.
On Thursday, a Chester County man was arrested for allegedly embezzling more than one million dollars from his employer.
Police said from the moment 29-year-old Guido la Vella started working for Taylor Gifts in 2009, he was using company dollars to fund a lavish lifestyle.
Friday, police said a 20-year-old Easton man confessed to shooting and killing a woman in the city last month.
Officials said Kahmir De'Lapara admitted to the crime after being picked up on drug charges following a raid.
Police said De'Lapara shot 28-year-old Amanda Stratford multiple times.
