It's time to take a look back at the stories making headlines this week in the 69 News Week In Review.
Monday, a Northampton County couple accused of literally scaring an elderly woman to death was convicted of murder.
Officials said Rebecca Johnson and Rogel Suero planned the robbery that later led to the death of Johnson's grandmother, 76-year-old Carrie Smith of Wilson Borough.
Smith had a heart attack during the 2012 robbery and died months later.
On Tuesday, an alleged crystal meth ring in Montgomery and Berks counties was busted open.
Six men were in custody for their alleged roles in a high-level trafficking ring based in Reading.
Investigators said 5 of the 6 men are in the country illegally from Mexico.
They believe the drugs were manufactured in Mexico then brought into the country.
Wednesday, a Bethlehem man was charged with stealing tens of thousands of dollars from a little league in Bethlehem.
Christopher Dollak of Bethlehem is accused of stealing more than $30,000 from the North Central Little League to fuel his drug addiction.
Authorities said his wife managed finances for the league and often brought money home to deposit later.
Court documents say starting last year, Dollak would frequently take money from the deposit bag.
On Thursday, the termination hearing for controversial police chief Mark Kessler came to an abrupt end.. after a loaded handgun fell to the floor.
Kessler, the chief in Gilberton, Schuylkill County, gained national attention for his YouTube videos featuring profanity and barrages of gunfire.
Thursday's hearing was halted after a loaded handgun belonging belonging to one of Kessler's supporters crashed onto the concrete floor.
The gun did not go off.. but the incident led officials to reschedule the hearing.
Friday, three people were behind bars after police said they busted up a meth lab in Northampton County.
Three adults were arrested -- each facing 9 charges related to making meth.
Police said the arrests were made after raiding a home on Railroad Lane in Hellertown.
During the raid, police said three children were found inside the home.
