Monday, flash flooding created turmoil in a Northampton County borough.
Rushing water from torrential downpours in Bangor damaged numerous homes and opened this sinkhole in one back yard.
Garbage cans and debris were seen floating down Messinger Street.
Fortunately no one was hurt.

Tuesday, officials said a violent threat to a Warren County, New Jersey high school came from a world away.
Police said a man from South Korea threatened to shoot up Hackettstown High School during a 911 call from his home country.
The call, which was made last March, resulted in the lock-down of the high school and other local schools.
On Tuesday, officials identified year-old Dae Woong Lee as the perpetrator.
Police said Lee was seeking revenge against a female student he had been talking to online.
Lee is facing up to five years in prison in South Korea.

Wednesday, two teenagers were killed and a third hospitalized after their truck plunged nearly 30 feet into the swollen Delaware River.
The accident happened early in the morning in a remote section of Pohatcong Township, in Warren County, New Jersey.
The crash claimed the lives of 14-year-old Tanner Sember and 19-year-old Jon Gercie.
The crash remains under investigation.

Thursday, six people died in a house fire in Lancaster County.
Police said the fire, in the 100 block of Clay Street in Lancaster, was sparked by frozen potatoes in an oven.
The fire claimed the lives of three young children and their parents.
The lone survivor of the family.. a toddler.. is clinging to life at an area hospital.
The owner of the home was also killed in the fire.

Friday, Reading police made a gruesome discovery while investigating an unrelated burglary.
Police said 26-year-old Darryl Jones of Birdsboro was found shot to death in an alley near the 1100 block of Birch Street.
The coroner said Jones died from a gunshot wound to the head.
So far, no arrests have been made.
