John Emrich allegedly held ex-girlfriend against her will

UPPER FREDERICK TWP., Pa. -

A 21-year-old man is facing charges for allegedly taking his ex-girlfriend against her will, police said.

The 18-year-old victim from Upper Frederick Twp., Montgomery Co., was taken around 5:30 p.m. on New Year's Eve night from her home on Rockhill Road, police said.

Police said she was found unharmed in Forkston, Wyoming Co., about four hours later.

Her ex-boyfriend, John Emrich, of Mertztown, Berks Co., was arrested. He's facing a list of charges, including false imprisonment, stalking and harassment.

Emrich was taken to Wyoming County Correctional Facility on $5,000 bail until further court proceedings.
